Has anyone used a balance of funds in their wise account to show the 500,000 bht? IE i am in Australia, rather than exchanging EUR to AUD for the duration and risk incurring an FX loss when I want to change it back. Can I just leave it in EUR in my wise account and show this instead?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The query discusses whether a balance of funds held in a Wise account in EUR can be used to meet the 500,000 THB financial requirement for a Thai visa application while residing in Australia. Responses indicate that it is possible to show any currency as long as the equivalent amount meets or exceeds 500,000 THB, provided you include documentation of the current exchange rate. There is also a consideration about the recognition of Wise accounts by the consulate, as Wise is not classified as a traditional bank.

It will depend on whether the consulate you apply at is willing to recognise a Wise account or not as Wise is not a bank

You can show any currency but its must be not less then 500.000thb. Just make screenshot from exchange rates from current date from your value to THB that's all
