Hi everyone, I have a question about the financial evidence for a DTV dependent visa.

My husband has already been approved for his DTV and met the financial requirement with over 500,000 THB in his account. For my dependent DTV application, should I submit:

* My husband’s bank statements (the same ones he used for his approved application) showing the 500,000+ THB, along with a sponsorship letter from him?

Or

* My husband’s bank statements plus my own last 3 months of bank statements (which show my regular income but do not contain 500,000 THB), along with his sponsorship letter?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully applied as a DTV dependent. Thank you!

If you are going to be working remotely from Thailand you should apply yourself under the Workation option to do so legally. To apply just to accompany your husband some consulates will want to see you have 500k baht or your husband has 1 million if he will sponsor you

Hi, if you choose to apply as dependent you should follow the husband’s financial statement and sponsorship letter. So, your first option is right. Otherwise they will reject it and you will need to apply as independent.

I haven’t done it yet but I’ll be doing it for my kids on our upcoming vacation out.
