Do I need to have the entire 500,000 baht in one bank account for my visa application?

Does the entire 500,000 baht need to be in the same bank account?

I have my money spread across a few bank accounts that are in my name. Will it be ok to show 3 month records of all the bank accounts with the cash in it?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The funds do not need to be in a single bank account for your visa application. You can present evidence of the 500,000 baht across multiple accounts, as long as all accounts are in your name and accessible. Ensure that the records are clear and well-organized to facilitate understanding by the Embassy staff. It's advisable that the funds be in personal savings or liquid accounts and that three months of bank statements for all accounts are provided.

DO they need to be savings accounts or can it be checking as well?

kjhyiuhyBased on the responses here, it looks like you're in good shape! Multiple people have confirmed that the 500K can be split across different accounts as long as they're all in your name and accessible. The key seems to be presenting it clearly to the embassy - organization matters more than having it all in one place. Good luck with your application!

Make it simple and easy to understand for the Embassy staff, then less risk of loosing the 10.000+ baht visafee, and be rejected.

Hi, as far as you can present it in an understandable way, it's ok.

The amount should be in liquid and personal saving accounts.
