Regarding tourist visa application in Malaysia. It states that a flight confirmation is required but it also states that using your personal vehicle is an option if you provide a copy of the registration and ID card of the owner. Is this a viable option if we use our friends car?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the requirements for a tourist visa application in Malaysia, specifically regarding the use of a personal vehicle. While a flight confirmation is typically required, the option to use a friend's car is presented if the vehicle's registration and the owner's ID card are provided. Community comments suggest that using a friend's vehicle should be acceptable, provided the registration is in order, but they also caution that the car should not be registered in Thailand.

Thanks Robert. I hadn't thought of the car being registered in Thailand or not...

I would say yes, after all going with friends in one car should be no problem. But i guess that if the car is registered in Thailand it does not work.
