Hello, we are on a tourist visa in Thailand but we have to apply for a business visa as soon as we receive the invitation letter.

Questions;

1. Do we need to go to our home country or is applying from Malaysia also okay?

2. How many days should we be abroad?

Kind regards Gonny

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired whether they could apply for a business visa from Malaysia while currently in Thailand on a tourist visa. They also asked how many days they should remain abroad for the visa application. Responses indicated that applying from Malaysia is feasible, providing a timeline for submitting and picking up the visa. However, the requirements might vary based on the passport's country of origin, and additional documentation beyond an invitation letter might be necessary.

If you go to KL, this is the list of Visa available, you need more that just an invitation letter of the company. Click on the correct Visa and you get a checklist with the requirements:

You can go to MY. Day 1 arrival, day 2 submit application (morning), day 3 pick up your visa (afternoon) and fly back to TH (evening). Based on my experience :)
