Hello group. If I use my two entries up on 90 day tourist visas from Australia… Can I still enter a third time with the DTV?

Or would the second entry need to be the DTV ..?

Just want to stay here for six months and see if we can commit to living here full-time first

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about entering Thailand for a third time after using up two entries on 90-day tourist visas from Australia and whether they can utilize a DTV for this entry. Comments provide clarification on visa rules, indicating that once a visa like the DTV is obtained, previous visits do not affect future entries, and suggesting immediate application for the DTV.

There are no two anything. You can get a free 60 day visa exempt entry stamp upon arrival and extend it another 30 days at immigration for 1900 baht. There was a rule of only 2 free exempt entry stamps by land entry only, but that has pretty much been discarded.

Why wait to apply for the DTV Visa?

Yes once you have the visa you can enter as often as you like. Your previous visits won't matter
