I plan to travel to Laos on October 21. I am renewing my 90 day business visa on October 4, meaning that at the time of my travel I will likely be under the 28-day "period of consideration". Will there be any issue? Can I still just get a re-entry stamp at the airport before departing from Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on traveling to Laos while under the 28-day consideration period for their business visa renewal in Thailand. They are wondering if obtaining a re-entry stamp at the airport is sufficient to allow travel during this period.
okay, you're not renewing anything ๐ฎ you can't renew visas ๐ You're applying for a new yearly extension based on employment and you are getting an "application under consideration" stamp for a month.
As you thought, you CAN leave the country IF you buy a re-entry permit, (as long as you're back before that under consideration stamp runs out)
Thanks for your help. So if the consideration stamp date is October 28, and I need to leave on the 27th, can I go early to immigration, or do I need to change my travel dates?
, if itโs an extension based on employment, you better talk with your employer about your plan abroad during the consideration period well in advance.
