Hi

I’m not sure if this is a silly question.

We are applying for a single entry tourist visa from the uk.

We will fly into Koh sumai for 2 weeks and then fly to Phuket , is this allowed on the visa as it’s still Thailand

I’m not sure if we are able to fly or if we have to find another way to get there .

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can fly from Koh Samui to Phuket while on a single entry tourist visa. Once you are in Thailand, you are free to travel domestically to various locations without any restrictions related to your visa.

It's still thailand your mot leaving, just going up and coming down, thai airspace is classed as Thailand, nor borders crossed.

I fly all over Thailand on tourist visa

You can fly from Bangkok to Phuket. There are more domestic flights from Don Mueang Airport (DMK) than BKK.
