Can I travel directly to Krabi from Phuket after arriving in Thailand?

ORIGINAL POSTERHi guys, this may sound like a stupid question… we fly direct to Phuket from Uk and ideally want to get to Krabi without staying in Phuket, is this possible? As I understand, we must stay one night in Phuket SHA+ to do the test and go and only then we are free to travel on to Krabi?

You can go straight to krabi for your first night. It’s within the transportation kilometer Limit for sandbox and test and go. No need to stay in Phuket. You will have to pay for private transportation through your hotel and include that in your Thai pass hotel confirmation page.

You can stay in different hotels in different cities for Day 1 and Day 5 under the scheme of Test & Go. I came to Thailand last week. Day 5 was like a joke. You have to go to the hospital at your expense and nobody oversees it.

Day 1 includes a stop-by at the hospital for a drive through PCR test in a taxi that the hotel provides you. Then the taxi takes you to the hotel. You get released from the hotel when you test negative next day. You go off to do your business until Day 5.On Day 5, you go to the hotel to check in. They will tell you to go to their affiliated hospital on your own (in my case). You can't go to other ones.
You come back to the hotel and wait for the result next day.

There is no more test and go....its test and test. Krabi would have to have a SHA hotel for your 5th day.Fern ********
ORIGINAL POSTERWe are thinking to eliminate stress after a long flight with 4 year old to do 2 nights in Phuket get the test out of the way then boat over to Krabi. Can we go somewhere on day 5 in Krabi to do the test rather than through a SHa approved hotel? Cheers guys
