Travel from Bangkok to Phuket involves specific regulations and requirements due to COVID-19. Currently, travelers cannot directly transit through Bangkok to Phuket; they must undergo the 'Test and Go' scheme in Bangkok after arrival. Travelers are advised to book accommodations in Bangkok for at least one night and obtain a Thailand Pass, and they might consider flying directly to Phuket from their departure country if possible. Miscommunication from travel agencies has caused confusion among travelers, so it's crucial to check the latest rules and possibly contact airlines directly for flight confirmations.

I wouldn’t trust Mytrip…better to book direct with the airline

Is this a real transit? Or do you have to stay in the airplane during the stop in Bangkok? Many airlines now land in airports just to pickup some extra passengers. Etihad is doing the same, in that case it is not a transit and it is allowed.

Has to be a sealed route! Only certain flights from BKK to Phuket qualify for this. Maybe go back to your agent or contact Thai Air directly to see if it can be sorted? 🤷♀️

These travel agencies do not care. They just want your cash. You will need a ‘test and go’ package for Bangkok and if you want to go to Phuket go the next day by changing your flight, or buying a new flight. You will also need to get a Thailand pass.

Usually travel agents just want to make money, they hardly care, they should tell everything before selling

Please reference the Thailand Reopening pages.
Transit through BKK to Phuket has NEVER been possible except for a very limited number of flights.
You will need to do Test and Go in Bangkok or fly directly from abroad to Phuket.
the shit online travel agents don't care. A sale is a sale to them.

Test and go is cheaper and easier in Bangkok. I hope you can travel domestically, I plan on going to Phuket soon myself from Bangkok.
& also what about my return flight ... will I have to do the same ? When I return from Phuket can I transit straight to Bangkok n then to London or it’s the same situation
Yes as far as I understand it; because that is what I’m doing 🤞🏻

Right so I need to book a PCR test for Bangkok airport, & two nights in Bangkok... then once I have my negative result.. I can book my flight to Phuket.. then when I return .. I can fly from Phuket to Bangkok & straight to London without having to stay in Bangkok 👌
I had to re book a whole new flight as the travel agency I previously booked with, will not answer my calls 🤦♂️ & my flight would be non refundable anyway, my original plan would of been to do the 1 night in Bangkok & then fly next day but now that’s impossible so had to book a whole new flight stopping in Doha & then to Phuket ... fingers crossed I get accepted 🤞
