My non o retirement extension expires middle of August 2021 and passport expires March 2022 would I be able to transfer visa to new passport if I renew passport in February or any recommendations. Thanks

I got caught by this. Did extension end of May. Passport expires end of February. They only gave extension to February. I could have renewed passport but it was only three weeks to go until visa extension expired so I just took the hit and will have to extend visa in February with new passport.

Your profile suggests you are British. Do the passport renewal NOW. You have presumably done a 90 day report last month so you have plenty of time... do not wait, appointments at VfS are Covid affected so the 'normal' one month timeframe may well be longer.

IF you apply for a yearly extension you need at least a year left on your passport OR they will only give you an extension until your passport runs out
