My question is: When it’s time to transfer the equivalent of 400000 baht should it be in one transaction or can it be two or even three transactions
Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original question asks whether a transfer of 400,000 baht can be done in multiple transactions or if it must be a single transfer. The consensus from the comments indicates that it is possible to transfer the amount in multiple transactions, provided that the total is in the bank for at least three months before applying for a Non-O visa. Some users suggest using services like WISE for transferring larger amounts, while others emphasize checking with the bank regarding transaction fees. Additionally, compliance with the financial requirements for the visa must be ensured.

As much as you want, but you’ll have to declare it when it’s more than 20k usd.
There’s no specific “border taxation” on it. Note that, under current tax laws, money brought in which originates from taxable income will become subject to income tax in the fiscal year it’s brought in.
If you come as a tourist and remain under 180 days of staying in Thailand while bringing in money, there’s zero charge.
interesting question. Couldn’t you start with bringing $10k or $20k USD with you, then use WISE while in Thailand?

You just need a final balance of at least 400k on the day that you apply for a Non-O or 400k minimum for two months leading up to the application for a Non-O extension (800k if your Non-O is based on retirement/over 50).
if you use WISE, you can send in one swoop up to 2 million Baht to a Bangkok Bank and a Kasikorn account, and 1.5 million Baht to a SCB account. To all other bank accounts (only 4 others left if you use WISE) the maximum for one swoop is 500,000 THB

Doesn't matter but Thai bank will cut the same commission for every transfer. Better ask your bank.

Doesn't matter how many.. It may work cheaper in one big transfer, but not a lot..
I just did 2.5 million for a house and no matter how I mixed it up, I was pretty close to the same as 1.6 million and 900k in the second transfer. I thought about using Navy Federal from the US because they start out at $25 for an international transfer, but after the less than mid rate exchange rate and unknown Thai charges, I opted for the known cost that Wise gives you. I just factored it in to the overall cost of the house.
? Wise and many other services no commission charges from the bank..

As many as you want as long as it's in the Bank not less than 3 months before you need it. Assuming you have a Thai partner if not then it's 800,000 baht.
