Hi not long ago I asked about mae sai border run, thank you all for your answers! One more questions, my 10 month old son holds a thai passport, would I be able to do the border run with him or will I need to go alone?

Id' say just GO do the border bounce without lugging your half thai child with you. I mean what if you get there and they DON'T let them cross with you? What then.

Are you married by chance? If you are, I suggest getting an extension of stay based on marriage for a Thai husband. I understand they don't need need to show proof of funds.

okay, so you have no visa but an Extension of Stay, nice to clear that part. Requirements differ at immigration offices, but normally it should be copy of passport, extension of stay, tm 6 departure card, birth certificate, copy passport of the child, registration blue house book, address registration tm30 . If you want to be sure, just ask a hand out as you have to visit them anyway to cancel your Extension of Stay based on study

or just cancel the ED visa and apply for the 60 days Extension of Stay for family visit, no need to go to the border

If you're ED visa is actually a big stamp from the immigration office with the text Extension of Stay permitted up to ../../.. make sure this is cancelled on the day you go to Mea Sai border, otherwise the send you back to cancel it first

i just wonder why doing border runs, but okay. Worst case scenario you have to ask one of the girls in a shop in the area to take care for an hour, but i guess the birth certificate will do
