Has anyone recently been on a TR visa with multiple entries and then applied for a DTV and got approved?

My concern is that I have been approved for a TR visa and have had two to three re-entries within the past six months. I'm unsure whether I should email the embassy to cancel already approved TR visa before applying for the DTV.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance! 🙏

METV is only valid for 6 months, yours should be expired or expiring soon, if as you say you've used it for entries within the past 6 months.
