If I get the DTV Visa but then get a job locally with work permit, what happens to the DTV? Is it replaced with a new visa and the work permit, and so finished? Or is it possible to get a work permit combined with the DTV? Thanks.

Specifically states in the announcement that rolled the DTV out that you CAN change it in country to another visa type

BUT

no one knows if that cancels the entire 5 year visa OR if it just goes "on hold" while you hold a Non-B/work permit (like the elite visa does)
