Hey all!

I tested positive on my pre flight test from Thailand to Cambodia (was due to fly tomorrow). I'm now having to isolate, but my visa expires on 19th March - I had a 30 day visa on arrival and then 30 day extension. Is there anyway I can extend my visa whilst in isolation/does anyone have any advice?

Thanks in advance!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user needs to extend their visa while isolating after testing positive for COVID-19. They originally had a 30-day visa on arrival, followed by a 30-day extension, and their visa is set to expire on March 19th. A commenter provides information that the user may be eligible for a 60-day COVID extension, but it requires an in-person visit.

You had a 30 day visa exempt entry, much different than a 15 day visa on arrival. Yes, you're eligible for a 60 day covid extension but you need to go in person. Where are you now?

You don't need to go in person if you hire an agent (i used thai visa center) they will come pick up your passport and bring it back to you no paperwork needed just 2 photos.... they send me a message every so often to let me know my visa is expiring and its time to come pick up my passport again

Agreed, Thai Visa Centre is very good, very efficient and organized. Worth every penny not to go to immigration during Covid.

wouldnt normally recomend an agent but in this case its probably better than getting letters from hospital etc etc. As Dave said Thai Visa Center have about the best reputation

just know it is a lot cheaper to do in person but much more convenient to do with a agent

apologies - visa exempt entry is correct! I'm unable to go in person because I'm isolating. Currently in Bangkok!
