My retirement visa is due for renewal on 20th March i am currently back in England 🏴 maybe wont be back before then. Can i still come back later in year & renew it by paying about 16000 baht for a year or could i do it online before due date or will have to make a trip over to sort this b4 the 20th? . Would it be void after this date ?
TLDR : Answer Summary
When your retirement visa is due for renewal while you are outside Thailand, it cannot be extended from abroad. If your visa expires before you return, you will need to apply for a new NON-O visa from the Thai embassy, starting with a 90-day visa and then applying for the year-long extension upon your return. It's recommended to renew your visa 30-45 days before the expiration; otherwise, you must begin the visa application process anew.
