I am about to apply to renew my visa extension based on retirement,Ihave a unused single re-entry permit ,which I bought when I extended last year.

Does this expire with the current extension or is it valid until used?

Yep, normally it's the same until-date of your extension of stay validity time.

You just need to look at the re-entry permit to get your answer

you'll see that it has a valid until date the same as your yearly extensions

All re-entry permits are only valid for the same time as the extension stamp they're issued on
