1. Can you apply and obtain your police report online from any country up to 6 months before you apply for the DTV?

2. I have no way of proving my home address in the UK has I haven’t lived there for over a year. I use my mums address for correspondence only. How do I satisfy the proof of address aspect of the DTV application?

For many places you can get police report online and Thai embassy will accept if it is within three to six months at time you apply. UK ACRO online is fine, same for many EU and other countries online police check. Just make sure date is recent when you submit DTV file and keep original PDF and printed copy.

For UK address proof when you live away, using mums address is common and often accepted if you show link. Provide her utility bill or council tax plus a short letter from her that you use address for mail and a copy of her ID. Also add your own bank statement or driving licence showing same address to help match embassy record.

Bank statements with your name and address on it are in many countries accepted as proof of address.

Thai embassy in The Hague Netherlands had no problems with it.
