Do I need to provide proof of my location when applying for a Thai visa from my home country?
Referring to the guides for applying, if you are applying from your home country do you need to provide proof of location beyond just an address? Such as photos where you're staying etc. I actually just travelled back to Australia after being away for 3 months to tend to some things and do the dtv application.
Answer summary
The user inquired about the necessity of providing proof of location (beyond just an address) when applying for a Thai visa from their home country, specifically asking if things like photos of their stay are required. The conversation shifted towards broader discussions about recent visa policy changes in Thailand and how they impact tourism. Although several commenters expressed frustrations towards these policy changes, the primary focus remained on visa application procedures.

Correct, relax. It’s not like the 60 day exemption has been in place for decades.

i think real reason for this change was to get more money...60 days tourist need to buy visa/extension..and soon will be entry fee 300thb. all these reflects Thailand´s greedy

Yep, if you are planning on coming and staying for more than 30 days apply for a visa now, plenty of time. Yes I know you can still get in country extension for another 30 days but why mess around, easier if you just get a visa before you come.
