TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is preparing to relocate from Thailand to Vietnam to apply for a DTV (workcation) visa while working remotely for a US company. They inquire about necessary documentation to ensure a smooth application process. Commenters advise that important documents include an employment letter confirming remote work capability, evidence of sufficient funds (specifically a recent bank statement reflecting at least 500,000 baht), and proof of accommodation (like a booking confirmation from Airbnb or a hotel). They also mention that the applicant must remain in Vietnam while waiting for the visa approval.

If it is not in the employment letter, let your employer make a separate letter telling your function can be done remotely.

And of course proof if the funds on a recent bank statement.
