Can my husband and baby convert their Non-O Visas to another Non-O Visa while I switch to a Non-B Visa in Thailand?

I currently hold an ED plus Visa, and my husband and baby currently have Non-O Visas (as dependents on my visa). According to the new rules, my ED plus Visa can be converted to another visa within Thailand.

My question is:

If I get a Non-B Visa, can my husband and baby do an in-country conversion from one Non-O to another Non-O (linked to my Non-B), or will they have to leave Thailand?

If conversion is not possible within country can they come on tourist visa and then convert to new non-o

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question revolves around whether a husband and baby with Non-O Visas can convert to another Non-O Visa linked to a spouse's new Non-B Visa while staying in Thailand, or if they must exit the country for this conversion. Community responses suggest it's likely that they will need to leave Thailand, as there may not be an in-country conversion process for dependent visas linked to different visa types.

They will most likely have to leave, you need to talk to your employer about it.

I do not believe there is a way to go from "trailing spouse/family" extensions based on you holding and ED visa, to ones based on you holding a Non-B visa/extension inside the country

They could cancel the extensions they're on now, exit the country, re-enter either free stamp OR with a tourist visa they bought before they came here and then apply in country for the Non-O visas based on trailing spouse/family to a foreigner who legally works here
