Quick question. If someone gets an ED visa and they have a kid. Will the kid get a Non O visa easily?
Does it have to be a one year ED visa to get a non O because some university students get 3-6 month extensions.
Thx in advance.

One commenter shares a personal experience where their children were issued tourist visas instead of Non-O visas under their ED visas, suggesting that the process may be more complicated than anticipated. Overall, the questions revolve around the requirements and restrictions concerning visa types for dependents of ED visa holders.

Looking back on it all, I wish I would’ve checked on here with Garrett.......We just returned from Hanoi with our 11 and 15 yr old kids on Tourist Visas because they wouldn’t issue Non-O to them under mine or my wife’s ED Visas. We had been told by others that our kids could follow one of us on a Non-O.
