Greetings all and thanks for the add! I am hoping for some sound and sage advice on whether I can obtain a marriage visa THIS month. Here is my situation: I am beginning the process of obtaining a marriage visa. My Thai fiance' and I have been living in Nonthaburi for 32 days now. I have extended my tourist "30 days on arrival" visa for an additional 30 days, and it is good until June 29. I meet the Non-O income requirements, I have had 400K+ baht in a Thai bank for 25 days, and proof of monthly pension of 55.2K baht. I turn 64 this month and have no health problems nor criminal record. Nonthaburi Immigration says I need 1 year of deposit history for the pension, and/or 2 months evidence of funds for the Thai bank account. I would like to achieve my goal without paying out to a legal firm and prefer NO re-entering of the Kingdom. Thanks in advance.
