Just another question we are just about to finish our 6 months and will be coming back December 10th for 30 days with the hope of getting another 30 days is there any reason this would not be allowed.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of getting another 30-day extension upon re-entering Thailand after completing a 6-month stay. The response highlights the uncertainty of entry decision making, which depends on both the individual's prior travel history and the discretion of the immigration officer on that day. To improve the chances of a smooth entry, it is suggested to have proof of funds, onward travel, and accommodation ready.

that is the magic question and not a single person on this group or in the world can give you an accurate answer. It comes down to your previous entry history to thailand, and the mood of the person at passport control you get when you're stamping into the country on that day at that counter.
There is no way to say YES you'll get right in, or they'll question you but let you in OR nope you'll be denied entry.
Have the 3 proof ofs, proof of funds (20K baht or the equivalent in CASH) proof of onward travel (within the days you'll be stamped in for) and proof of lodging and hope for the best..
