Im very thankful for all these helpful content here.

Now I am in a complicated situation myself:

I came to Thailand in march 2020 from europe with a visa on arival. This visa was extended and after that i was on visa amnesty until july 2020 when i started to work on a nonb visa with workpermit.

I quit my job with january 22 and made use of the covid-visa which expires now on 23.march.

It seems like i cannot change to a Educstional visa and the covid visa issnt possible for me either.

So I would have to leave the country to come back on a touristvisa to get a studentvisa, so i have been told. Now since that is impossible for me at this time I must ask the following quesion:

If anybody overstayes the visa too long he/she will get some kind of entry in the passport. Will this entry affect my chances to enter other countries, lets say the Phillipines, once they are open?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on the consequences of overstaying their visa in Thailand, particularly how it might affect their ability to enter other countries like the Philippines in the future. The comments suggest that overstaying can lead to a stamp in the passport, which may flag the individual's history to immigration officials in other countries, potentially resulting in denied entry or visa applications. It is recommended to leave Thailand without any overstay record to maintain a clean immigration slate.

allow me to add this...

1...NEVER PLAN TO OVERSTAY.

2...Upon arrival seeking entry into another nation....the Immigration Officers can see that you were on OVERSTAY IN THAILAND...

and HOW MANY DAYS OVERSTAY IS ENTERED INTO YOUR PASSPORT....

and they may deny you entry as being undesireable.

And if you seek a visa from another country...they too will SEE the OVERSTAY STAMP.

WHY RISK being denied entry into or a visa you apply for ...from another country?

NOT WISE to do so.

Leave Thailand with a clean immigration slate...Safe travels.

Be thankful that the Thai Immigration helped people who became stranded due to Covid.

You managed an extra long stay, but the time is over.

Going on overstay is not recommended as you will get a stamp in your passport and depending on time, fines and blacklist to re-enter Thailand.

Plan B, a short trip abroad to apply for the correct visa that fits your purpose of stay inside Thailand.

a smart visa? I think that could solve my problem! Thank you so much!

That depends on the entry rules of other countries which is not the scope of this page.

If you work inside Thailand the only option for you is the Non Immigrant B visa and a work permit OR the Smart visa using the Board of Investment.

be aware though that if you checked by the police while on overstay you run the risk of being arrested and taken to the immigration detention center
