Hey everyone, I have a question regarding the "60 days extension for 1900THB" for anyone still residing in Thailand.

My situation is this. I was on a student visa until November 2020 and then applied for the 60 day extension in the end of November 20. They gave me a stamp for consideration and told me to return in 1 week. 1 week later I got my stamp allowing me to stay until the end of January 21 after paying 1900 THB.

I am now inside Thailand for 1 year and 2 months without leaving.

Will I will be able to do this twice ?

Has anyone done it twice by now ?

thank you for your time and help :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of securing a second 60-day extension for 1900 THB after already having one, citing their extended stay in Thailand since their student visa expired. Comments indicate that many individuals have successfully obtained a second extension, provided they apply before the previous extension expires, and they must meet all requirements again, including submitting forms and necessary documents.

Once the emergency decree extend then you can go for 1900b for 2 mths and its expired on
*****
which is lately had been extended ! So if ur stamp expire before that it will be ok to do it and if is after
****
advisable to perform it before that day unless the gov extend again the emergency decree status !

Quite a few are now on their second “Covid” extension. You have until January 29th to apply.

I second what
@Stu***
says, as long as you go to the immigration office before your current stamp expires (which is before the covid extension rule runs out) you can apply for another 60 day extension based on covid for 1900baht. Doesn't matter how long you've been here, matters that you do it before the rule allowing covid extensions runs out and that's on Jan 29th
