Went today in the afternoon after 2pm, 18th May 2021 to transfer from my old passport to my new one.

There's only 1 person ahead of me.

Got my transfer done in 30 mins and then have to Re queue to get a new number to apply for CoViD19 extension since my expiry is with 30 days.

Paid 1900 bahts and waited for another 30mins.

2 sets of photocopies and the newly transferred stamps photocopies needed too.

Asked if CoViD19 extension will be extended, she replied, just wait for announcement.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully transferred their old passport to a new one at an immigration office in Thailand, taking about 30 minutes with one person ahead. After the transfer, they queued again to apply for a COVID-19 extension, paying 1900 baht and waiting another 30 minutes. They needed two sets of photocopies, including the new stamps. The user inquired about the potential extension of the COVID-19 extension policy but was advised to wait for an official announcement.

You would use Changwatanna to get an extension of stay based on tourism or an extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19

at least you were able to get them both done today, now just don't forget to go back when the under consideration stamp comes due to get your covid extension inked in :P
