Hi all. Is it still the case that if you're NOT doing 90 day reporting you can't get a residence certificate from Chaengwattana immigration?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The current rule states that if you are not complying with the 90-day reporting requirement, you will not be eligible to obtain a residence certificate from Chaengwattana immigration.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
So for a non-O this only works on 1-year extensions, not for a year-long multiple entry non-O with 90-day entries, correct? Or could one do a superfluous 90-day report just before the 90-day expiry? (Just to get the certificate of residence)
If you try to do a 90 day report when you're either on amnesty, OR you're on a 90 day multiple entry Non-O visa (i.e. for marriage), immigration will reject it.
thanks! Good to know that won’t fly. I have an older residence certificate from my previous non-O extension, but might need a more recent one for driving license. However now switched to non-O multiple entry since I usually travel every 90 days anyway. Need to go through embassy then.
