Hello,

I'm holding a visa on arrival and it expired before March 26th, I'm currently in Thailand. Now I want to apply for a non b visa. Is there anyone in the same situation as me? I'm not sure if it is considered violation can I still get a non b visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about applying for a non-B visa in Thailand after their visa on arrival expired prior to March 26th. A comment indicates that since their visa expired before the amnesty, they likely faced an overstay charge and may not be eligible for a non-B visa.

then you are allowed here on amnesty until the 31st of July

BUT

when you leave the country you will be charged overstay from the 4th to the 26th <- the day the amnesty started

That means you will have 22 days of overstay at 500 baht a day or 11,000 baht.

You cannot get a Non-B issued from the amnesty

AND (sadly for you)

because your visa entry stamp expired BEFORE the amnesty started, when you go to leave the country once the amnesty is over they will charge you overstay from the date your visa stamp expired until the 26th of March.

FWIW, you couldn't have gotten a non-B visa inside the country even if your entry stamp expired after the amnesty started, because you need real hard stamp days left on an entry stamp to apply for a non-Immigrant visa inside the country not amnesty no stamp days..
