Currently have tourist visa extension and am unable to change to B due to one day overstay ๐Ÿซ . I just need a clean stamp for the B visa.

I'm a US citizen in Chiang Mai. Is the MaeSai border no longer an option for a quick turn around?

Can I apply for a tourist visa online while currently on one?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user currently holds a tourist visa extension but faces a one-day overstay issue, making a change to a B visa challenging. They inquire about the availability of the Mae Sai border for a quick turnaround to get a clean stamp for their B visa, as well as the possibility of applying online for a tourist visa while still on a tourist visa. Commenters confirm that all land borders to Myanmar, including Mae Sai, are closed to foreigners, and suggest exploring Huay Xai in Laos as an alternative border option.

The alternative would be huay xai in Laos.

ALL land borders to Myanmar are closed to foreigners, have been since the coup, and likely will be for a long time.
