Hello. Am seeking advice please. My flight to Shanghai was cancelled last night because of the typhoon. I opted to get a refund because the next flight there was on monday, but I have to leave by today basically. I got the 7 day stamp. The workers at the airport told me I can leave tomorrow without an overstay fine. I want advice on the nearest country to try to go to please? I've already done by two overland trips to mae sae, so while I'm sure I can go out via bus, I don't think they will let me back in overland right? I'm wondering if Laos might be a better option for me at this point. Or maybe traveling to BKK and then to Cambodia. Has anyone ever had an issue like this, "stuck" in a country when you visa or stamp is close to expiring? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
