Can I Extend My 60-Day NON-O Visa Again if I Can't Travel?

Hi Guys. I tried to search this query and couldn't find an answer so I wanted to ask.

I know it's a long shot but has anybody had, or heard of, someone being allowed to extend a 60 day extension for a second time in a row?

I am on a NON O visa through marriage and I extended it for 60 days in January in Sriracha Immigration. This is going to run out March 8th and I was planning (have flights and hotels booked and paid for) on going to Vietnam on the 7th.

Now that Vietnam is on the "quarantined list", if I go, my wife and son can't go to work or school for 2 weeks after.

So I was wondering if immigration allow a second 60 day extension in a row if the circumstances allow?

Thanks ahead for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks advice regarding the possibility of extending a NON-O visa based on marriage for a second consecutive 60 days after already having extended it once. The query arises from potential travel complications due to Vietnam being on a quarantined list, which would affect the author's family. Responses indicate that while some immigration offices may allow one extension per entry, others restrict the option to one extension per visa validity period. Thus, the author is advised to check their local immigration office's policies.

Here's the low down on 60 day extensions;

SOME immigration offices allow you to get ONE 60 day extension per ENTRY on a multi-entry non-O visa

BUT

Some immigration offices allow you to get ONE 60 day extension on the WHOLE validity of the visa (the year it's good for).

If your immigration office allows a 60 day visit family extension ever ENTRY on that 90 day visa and you have already gotten a 60 day extension on this 90 day entry you're done.

As long as your visa is valid you can bounce out and back to get a NEW 90 day entry stamp. That is your option.

would like Moderators to re-open Sam Mosley. There seems to be some misunderstanding. His 1-year Non-O based on marriage is not valid any more and he is now on the 60-day extension based on having a spouse/family member. Since he cannot fly to Vietnam his option is to go to Savannakhet and apply for a new Non-O ME based on marriage. That's all that is to it , it didn't take a sidelong discussion

If you have a multi entry tourist visa I can extend each entry by 30 days. Not sure why it would be different for a multi entry non-o?

it seems that he is on a 60 day extension based on having a Thai spouse, which runs out by March 8th. He will have to get a new Non-Imm-O based on marriage outside of Thailand after this date. Vietnam due to qarantaine regulations is no option. However he can still do it in Malaysia, Myanmar or Laos. There seems to be some misunderstanding between Immigration and his wife

It is a bit confusing but I assume you can get an extension on each and every 90 day entry if you wish? So he needs a fresh 90 day entry on his valid visa which he should once again be able to extend if he so chooses

To care for my family I said to the immigration. I had done this previously and my visa was still valid.

Why are you going to Vietnam? To get a new one year Non O Married to Thai?

If so, Savannakhet is an option.

Si Racha is Chonburi. Your not land locked here. You can go home to your country of passport.

I live in Sriracha, Chonburi. I assume there will be border hopping companies in Pattaya? That is only 30 minutes away

no mate. I booked it before this list came out and it was a cheap and easy way to get out of the country. It’s only for my 90 day run. I am looking at other places now to go instead but I don’t want to book somewhere else and then have that place out on the list too

No...not possible.
