Hello All,

I have just returned from the Phayao immigration office and thought I would share the list of required items for an extension of stay for 60 days based on visiting Thai family (in my case marriage to a Thai national)

1. Photocopy of passport info and current stamped page.

2. Photocopy of Tor Mor 6.

3. Photocopy of Tor Mor 30.

4. A recent Kor Lor 2.

5. Original marriage certificate.

6. Photocopy of wife’s ID card.

7. Photocopy of tabien baan.

8. 1 x 2” passport photo.

9. Completed Tor Mor 7.

10. Completed “acknowledgement of penalties for a visa overstay” form.

11. Completed “acknowledgement of terms and conditions for permit of temporary stay in the kingdom of Thailand” form.

12. thb 1900.

They also said that my wife does not need to accompany me there to get this extension, but in this case she must have signed all the copies of the documents pertaining to herself.

I shall take her anyway just in case when I get the docs all together, to be safe.

I will report back that this is accurate after I get the extension.

Once again the Phayao office guys were very helpful.

Cheers, Dave.

Sorry, but I close this down. If you do not know what you talk about is not a problem, as we all had to learn.

But to come with useless statements based on no fact at all, only because you do not know what you're asking for is not necessary.

Please, the Thai Immigration rules do NOT change on a daily basis.

i guess point 3 is you need a proof that your address is registered, the Tor Mor 30 is just an registration form.
