Hello lovely people!

I have applied for a 60 days visa and the approval is still pending.

Tomorrow is my flight to Thailand . And my itinerary is planed for 60 days.

I know I can get Visa On Arrival - however the information is mixed.

Some sources say 15 days some 30 days.

I am from Romania.

Can you please let me know if I can travel and get a 30/60 days visa on arrival ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they can obtain a 30 or 60-day visa on arrival (VOA) for Thailand, given their current visa application status is pending and their flight is scheduled for tomorrow. Comments indicate that the VOA for Romanians is typically only valid for 15 days with no extension possible, and they may need to consider border hopping or changing travel plans to secure a longer stay.

Get VOA, 15 days...Go to another country, visa extemption, and stay 1 day, then come back, to a new VOA...if you have a flight that exit after 15 days, you will be able to get in your flight, otherwise, you are not eligible for travel to Thailand

no need to stay one Day

Can do a simple land BORDER BOUNCE to get the new VOA Visa on Arrival stamp. But check to be sure the land border crossing used has the Visa on Arrival VOA available.

I wish you would change your flight to Thailand...as you are going to arrive VOA Visa on Arrival and ONLY get a 15 day STAMP on arrival.

There is NO extension of stay at Thai Immigration offices when you arrive VOA Visa on Arrival.

Read this post and you may be able to do border bounce at select Thai land border crossings to get a New VOA Visa on Arrival stamp.

AND if you do receive the Thai Tourist Visa which you say is pending approval...

Then use it to get the 60 day stamp at the end of the 15 day VOA stamp

a "Visa on Arrival" and that is something SOLD to people from 17 countries when they land here for 2000baht. It is issued for 15 days.

These are the countries that BUY a Visa On Arrival to Thailand when they arrive here;

Bhutan, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Malta, Mexico, Nauru, Paupa New Guinea, Romania, Taiwan, Uzbekistan & Vanuatu

That means if you come from one of those countries you DO buy a visa on arrival to Thailand and the price IS 2000baht.

###you need to show proof of

...10K baht or the equivalent in CASH,

... proof of onward travel in 15 days AND

...proof of lodging when you go to get the VOA issued at passport control

AND the Day you arrive counts as DAY #1

Yes 20 days ago and they still did not approve

@Adrian ******
Then I suggest you cancel your flight and await the approval of the Thai Tourist Visa

no. Romanians can only apply for and purchase a visa on arrival at the airport which is only for 15 days and there's no extension available. As part of your visa application at the airport you would be required to show your flight out of Thailand within 15 days of your arrival.

But none of that matters because your airline in Romania probably will not let you fly to Thailand without showing the flight out of Thailand within 15 days if you do not have a visa.

ONLY granted 15 days as visa on arrival VOA.

@Adrian ******
NO you CANNOT buy a visa when you get into Thailand

I'm afraid that you might not be able to check-in for your flight to Thailand. The airline may ask to see PROOF of your flight departing Thailand within the 15 days of your arrival into Thailand as Visa on Arrival VOA.
