Answer summary
The user inquires about the possibility of obtaining a 30-day extension on their stay in Thailand after experiencing a one-day overstay while on a retirement visa. Responses suggest that the one-day overstay is unlikely to impact the extension request. Additionally, it's stressed that working while on a retirement visa is illegal and should be kept discreet. To get the extension, visiting the local immigration office is recommended.

Simply go to your local immigration office and ask them directly
You can't legally work on a retirement visa, either inside Thailand or remotely, so I'd keep that very quiet. But you also can't get a 60 day stamp on a retirement visa unless your passport expires in 60 days or you were stamped in incorrectly.
Time to check your passport. If you were stamped in incorrectly you need to get that fixed, you can ask your local immigration office but they may tell you to return to wherever stamped you in
was correct with his interpretation and you actually meant you were working towards getting a retirement visa, sorry for the misinterpretation. Whether you will get a 30 day extension or a 7 day extension will depend on whether you have already has a 30 day extension already recently. The 1 day overstay won't matter
