TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus from the community is that a passport is required for flying domestically in Thailand, although some users mentioned that a Thai driving license or work permit may be accepted under certain circumstances. It's advisable to check with the airline for specific identification requirements before flying.

Do you not have a Thai driver's licence!?

Are you asking because you don't have your passport?

Passport or thai drivers license (has your passport number on it) are acceptable.

No passport, no flying... Even in domestic flights they want to see your passport.
strictly speaking according to law, you need the original with you. Yes, I also carry a copy, but I know someday I will come across an overeager cop looking for tea-money
, then still passport needed, law says Thai citizens must have their ID card on them at all times and foreigners must have their passports on them at all times
Passport is what permit you to fly internationally and working permit/visa is what will allow you entry to the designated country! The two must go together except for obvious reasons.

Bangkok Airways permits you to fly with a work permit.
