TLDR : Answer Summary
It is generally acceptable to use a valid passport that differs from the one with your visa stamps for domestic flights in Thailand, as airlines typically focus on the photo page for identification. However, some hotels may require to see your visa stamps for registration purposes.

Its used for ID only. Not immigration purposes!

They only look at the photo page of your passport when you fly so it should be fine.

Many hotels have asked to see my stamps though. TM30 might use passport number for them to register you.
