Urgent   .I think I just messed up at immigration. I extended my over 50 Visa today at Jomtien immigration and they took my passport for pick up on July 8th. But I'm flying to Krabi tomorrow.

I was thinking my hotel would take a copy of the passport for check-in but forgot about getting on the plane at BKK Airport. Is it possible to get on a domestic flight to Krabi from BKK without actual passport and just a copy and with u.s. Florida driver's license ?

that's a year extension stamp AND the paper telling you when to go back and file your 90 day report on Sept 30

wow.... the new extension was already stamped into the passport. They finished it in just over an hour. OMG today I am lucky.

I might be wrong, but I think you need a valid identification. Doubt they will accept a foreign DL.

I have a passport copy but maybe it's safer just to pick up passport if I can get it from immigration in 5 minutes

I doubt they are gonna give your passport back after you applied for the extension.

Jomtien doesn't do that, they give them back the next business day (which will be wednesday)

Just get a copy of it from them and have them write you are applying for an extension and they have your passport on the copy
