Urgent .I think I just messed up at immigration. I extended my over 50 Visa today at Jomtien immigration and they took my passport for pick up on July 8th. But I'm flying to Krabi tomorrow.
I was thinking my hotel would take a copy of the passport for check-in but forgot about getting on the plane at BKK Airport. Is it possible to get on a domestic flight to Krabi from BKK without actual passport and just a copy and with u.s. Florida driver's license ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user expressed concern about traveling to Krabi without their original passport after extending their Over 50 Visa at Jomtien immigration. They noted they did not have a Thai driver's license, only a Florida driver's license, and were unsure if they could board a domestic flight with just a copy of their passport. Community members advised contacting the airline for clarity, but most suggested that a valid form of ID would be necessary to board the flight. Ultimately, the user retrieved their passport in time for travel.
