Hi guys, does anybody know if you could convert visa exempt (45 days) to ED visa? Or does it have to be 60 days visa only?

Also, any recommendations for muay thai school would be very much appreciated ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of converting a visa exempt stay of 45 days to an ED (Education) visa, questioning whether this conversion requires a 60-day visa instead. A comment responds that both the visa exempt and tourist visa are treated similarly, but a 30-day extension is likely necessary due to the time needed for enrolling in a school and waiting for necessary documentation from the Ministry of Education.

Tourist visa and visa Exempt are treated the same for this. But you'll probably need to get your 30 day extension because once you find a school, they need to apply for documents from the Ministry of Education which takes about 2 weeks, and then you need to have 14-21 days left on your stay when you go to apply at immigration because there is an under consideration period where you have to return later to get your visa.
