Hi All, I was in Thailand for 3 months on a 60 day visa + 30 day extension. Left for a week to Japan. Just arrived back on a visa exemption but was told by immigration that I was getting a warning and if I were to return again in a 3 month period I would be denied entry. Was very surprised given that this is only my 2nd entry.
Question is- my plan had been to do a 30 day extension while doing the paperwork for an education visa. Is that not going to be possible now because of the warning? My intention is to use AAA school, maybe they will be helpful in sorting it out?
I’m 26 and a US citizen.
Thoughts and advice please and thank you in advance.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about receiving a warning from immigration upon their recent re-entry to Thailand on a visa exemption after previously staying for 3 months. They want to know if they can still apply for a 30-day extension and transition to an education visa despite this warning. A comment suggests that the warning does not prevent them from getting a 30-day extension, but emphasizes the need to act quickly with the school to ensure a smooth transition to the education visa.
