Which visa do I need? I spent 4 weeks in Thailand for the first time in January 2022.
Now I have a ticket to visit Thailand again from 13/12/2022 to 9 March 2023.
My intention is to leave Thailand on January 22 via Padang Besar. On January 23 or 24 I want to return to Thailand by train.
Can I do this safely without applying for a visa (ie visa excemption)?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on visa requirements for a return trip to Thailand after an initial visit. They plan to leave Thailand briefly and return within a short period. According to comments, as a Belgian citizen, the user can use the visa exemption for two consecutive entries, allowing for an initial stay of 45 days, which can be extended. However, they should be cautious about potentially being questioned by immigration if they perform back-to-back entries.
Visa Exemption is different to 45 day visa ‘on arrival’. If you do visa on arrival you will get 45 days and can extend for another 30 days and you could get another visa on arrival when u come back however you may get questioned by immigration
Visa exempt will give you 45 days. You can extend both entries by 30 days if you desire. No issue doing two exempt entries back to back. More and you could be asked questions.
