I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but if you entered Thailand on a TR visa, can you extend it another 60 days, or only 30?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you entered Thailand on a TR (Tourist) visa, you can extend it for an additional 30 days at the immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. There was also mention of a COVID-19 amnesty option, which may allow for further extensions, but this requires getting a letter from your embassy before approval at the immigration office.
After your 90days already. Be fore it ends u can extend under ammesty due to covid. Have to go to your embassy to get a letter & then visit immigration again to seek approval

Yesterday on MTT didn't allow to extend TR visa for 60 days. They said first extension 30 days and after that 60 days covid extension.
The ability to apply for 60 day covid extensions runs out on March 30th (that's when the order allowing them which was extended expires). We have no idea IF the O/P is even in the country at this time OR if the covid extensions will still be in effect when they go to apply
Totally up to the immigration office, some offices MAKE you get the regular 30 day extension before you can apply for the 60 day covid extension.
AND
for the offices that allow the covid extension (without the 30 day regular extension) they start the extension the date you apply (meaning if you apply with any days left on your current stamp you lose those days)
Check with your office to see how they do it
