I am graduating from thai university this semester, my enrollment is until 31 july 2021 which my visa extension will be expired by that time too. However, my last day of class is 28 May 2021 and I heard students need to go back to their home country within two weeks after the last day of class along with their cancelled visa otherwise they will be charged overstay.
The thing is, I have an internship in June-July and I also applied master program in different university but they havent announced the result yet. I am expecting to extend my visa to different university in June-July if they offer me an admission. The university already said that changing school under same visa is possible.
With this 2 weeks rule, will it be a problem?
I kind of searched through Thai visa forum, some students did internship months after the graduation before their visa expired. If anybody knows, please drop something. I want to make sure this is possible without going back home to get new visa.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is graduating from a Thai university and is concerned about visa expiration after their last class while also seeking to intern before possibly enrolling in a master's program. They question the two-week rule regarding visa status after graduation, especially since the university indicated that changing schools under a similar visa is permissible.
