What are my visa options in Thailand after my contract and visa expire, and can I apply for a new visa without leaving the country?
Hi, everyone! My contract will expire at the end of March. And so will my visa. I am not willing to extend my contract since I’m unhappy with the current school I’m working in. However, I don’t want to leave Thailand. I’ve found an online job. Can anyone please tell me what are my visa options? Is it possible for me to make a student visa or any other type of visa that will allow me to stay here for some time?
Also, if there’s another option for me to stay in Thailand, do I have to leave the country in order to apply for a new visa?

You'll definitely have to leave to change visas. You'll need to cancel your work extension first before leaving

Your visa options will be limited. If over 50 a retirement visa, if under 50 an elite visa. But neither allow you to work.
