TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is concerned about their visa expiration on October 25, and is considering going to immigration on October 24 due to upcoming holidays. Comments clarify that immigration will be open on October 24, despite being closed on October 23 and 26. It's also noted that extensions are limited to 7 days for transit visas, while tourist visas may receive a 30-day extension.

Tony, that is incorrect information. I just called the Jomtien Immigration office at 03-825-2750. They are closed next week on Monday the 23rd and Thursday the 26th ONLY.

She said they are open Tues-Wed & Friday

You extend your stay, so you do not loose days by going early.
