Have a question. On tourist visa since early December, so must leave before 26th September. Would like to ask what you think if i would go to Buriram Immigration telling them that i don't want to leave for Belgium because to many cases there, quarantine etc.. A kind of asilum covid visa...? Would like to know what are you thinking about it. Thanks everyone.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is on a tourist visa that requires them to leave Thailand by September 26th. They inquire about the possibility of discussing concerns about returning to Belgium due to COVID-19 and requesting a kind of asylum visa. Responses clarify that there is no COVID asylum visa, and while the user is technically on an amnesty since March, they must depart on time unless they have valid documentation from their consulate or medical professionals to support an extension.

Imagine immigration if they said " there's a covid asylum visa" available ๐Ÿ˜‚ the doors would be off their hinges ๐Ÿ˜‚

okay, first There is no covid asylum visa :O AND you're not on a tourist visa any more ;) You're on amnesty and have been since the 26th of March,

Unfortunately whether you want to leave or not is neither here nor there :(

Unless you get a letter from your consulate here stating you are unable to travel after the 26th of Sept due to covid-19, OR a letter from a doctor/hospital saying you can't travel due to medical reasons you can't apply for a 30 day extension and would have to leave on or before the 26th of Sept
