TLDR : Answer Summary
The post details a successful 30-day extension of a TR-60 visa in Thailand, highlighting that the extension was approved based on the expiration date of the old visa rather than the application date. The user shares their experience, including the application process, location of the government office, and the specific requirements for the extension.

Thank you for the report. Glad things went smoothly for you.

OP entered on a pre-purchased Single Entry Tourist Visa. If you entered Thailand without a pre-purchase visa, this is not your case.

As you can see in the report, Bangkok usually doesn't ask for a TM30 receipt for a tourism extension.
