TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a single entry Non-O visa from Singapore and inquires about the possibility of extending it while in Bangkok. Responses highlight that while the visa application is necessary for entry, approval to enter Thailand has additional requirements, such as Covid-19 documentation. Once in Thailand, the user will initially receive a 90-day entry stamp, which can potentially be extended either by meeting financial requirements for a one-year extension or by applying for a 60-day family visit extension without proof of funds.

When you finally get to enter you'll get stamped in for 90 days and then you either meet the proof of funds (400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply) and get a year extension OR you could get a 60 day visit thai family extension (without proof of funds) those are the only two extensions available to you.

and you know that just because you're applying for the visa doesn't mean you're approved to enter the country right? IF you are one of the demographics of people allowed to request permission to enter the country you apply for permission first, show the 100K USD in covid insurance, show that you booked your quarantine in one of the approved Alternative State Quarantine facilities, that you have a negative covid test, a fit to fly and finally get a Certificate of Entry from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
