Hi there. First off thanks for all the forum advice. Quick question.

Our 60 SETV expires July 2. We are US passport holders.

Does that mean we have to leave that day or can we extend on that day?

The reason for my asking is the Airbnb person hasn’t filled out the TM30 forms before and he’s filling them out now. We will take them into Nonthaburi immigration on Monday July 1st.

But if there are issues I was thinking we could get a hotel night of July 1 near chaeng wattana. Then on July 2 we would go there and do the extension there instead. But wanted to make sure there are no issues going on the day our visa expires (July 2).

Thanks again!

Josh.

Answer summary

The question is about the possibility of extending a 60-day Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) on the expiry date (July 2) for a US passport holder. The user is considering whether they must leave Thailand on the expiry date or if they can still process the extension on that day. They are also dealing with potential issues related to the completion of the TM30 forms by their Airbnb host.
